Emmanuel Kojo Quayson, known by his stage name Vybrant faya is an African dancehall musician based in Ghana. He is one of the most successful new dancehall artists born to emerge from the continent of Africa with his debut single- Mampi. Vybrant Faya is born to Mr Samuel Kwame Quayson and Miss Theresah Ackon, he hails from the central part of Ghana - Ampenyi. He grew together in the same home with 4 boys and a girl. He never knew music was going to be one of his money making business until the love connected with the arts. After his secondary level of education He went on to further his education by diverting into I.T, where he trained to be become a certified I/T Technician after he studied Business Accounting.
Music has been his dream since school days hence, He started recording his songs in the year 2008, and recorded with musical engineers like Madbeats, King one, Shotto blinqx. Dakay, Mr brown, Prekx, just to list a few.
EARLY LIFE Vybrant Faya, born in Tema, grew up inside Ashaiman with the family. Ashaiman is place for more ghettos kid but a hub for children with extraordinary talent. The love for music was strong but there had to be a direction. Vybrant Faya chose dancehall music because it related to his life and society in which he grew up. The passion for that genre of music led him to learn more about it; he started with the diction, roots and culture. Vybrant Faya after learning about the culture began to live the lifestyle within his means hence met a lot of ghetto youth who also had similar interest in the genre. Vybrant Faya started mounting platforms in his neighbourhoods to showcase his talent. The patrons of such events recognized his talent and named him the KING of dancehall in his Ashaiman district. Till date Vybrant faya rules as the KING of dancehall not only in his district but the country. Vybrant Faya grew faster in lyrics, earning him the maddest lyricist in the dancehall music in the country. He had the chance to record more songs and built for himself large following in and out of his district.
EARLY CAREER Vybrant Faya in the year 2011 in his career reached to a higher platform when he met Mr. Logic who has just come from Jamaica by then. His stage name was skelloh as he started doing music but was transformed to Vybrant faya by Mr. Logic.
