Minister Bernard Appiah (MBA)
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Bernard Appiah, recognized by his stage name Minister Bernard Appiah (MBA). Is a Ghanaian gospel musician, composer, songwriter and a keyboardist. He was born on 9th April 1995 at the Central Region of Ghana, Cape Coast to be specific. Bernard was born to Mr. John Mensah Appiah and Madam Elizabeth Ocran, and is the youngest of four children.

He started his basic school education at Adventist preparatory school and later moved to Albert Sam preparatory school for his Junior high education (JHS) all in Cape Coast. He continued his Senior High School education at Aburaman Senior high School in Cape Coast and later relocated with the family to Accra so obtained his SHS certificate through Action Senior High School in Accra where he pursued General arts.
Bernard is also a graduate of the Global School of Aviation where he studied Air line customer service and passenger handling at the tertiary level.
Bernard is a certified Aviation person by profession but a spirit filled praise and worship leader by calling.

His love and passion for God made him start singing in the church and at family gatherings especially morning devotions, birthdays and naming ceremonies at a very tender age.
His desire for music and the arts grew more as the years went by so he pursued that to become a professional musician.
He was a lead and a soloist at the Consuming Fire Church in Cape Coast where he was nurtured in the Lord. During the early days of his singing journey he participated in talent shows, drama and karaoke events in the church. Singing the songs of his favorite musicians makes him fulfilled.
Elder Mireku, Uncle Ato and Pastor Joe Beechem are his mentors whose ministry and lifestyle has impacted and influenced him positively.
He began traveling to different churches and places with Pastor Francis Nana Appiah, his elderly brother to sing. By the special grace of God upon him, his ministration creates an atmosphere for the brother to preach the word of God. This also grounded him in the word and improved his prayer life...

To become a better musician, Bernard humbly took vocals and other basic rudiments of music from Harry Fiscian who is also a musician, a producer, vocal coach and keyboardist
Bernard really love to worship the Lord through music, no wonder he is such a great praise and worship leader.

In 2024 , Bernard released his maiden album, entitled M'aseda (My Thanks), the title is a testament of his appreciation and gratitude to the LORD for what the Lord has done for him and with him.

He collaborated with Harry Fiscian, Oheneba Clement, David Frimpong, Pearl and other great musicians for the success of the album.

Currently Bernard is leading a group of passionate and vibrant believers who carry the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to people who are busy at work and have little or no time to worship the Lord. And this they do through music and one on one discipleship.

He also has a foundation called *The MBA Rescue Foundation* which cares for the needy, orphans, prisoners, paying of hospital bills and Scholarships for some brilliant but needy children.
