GuiltyBeatz is undeniably one of the fastest rising DJs and producers from Africa. Whether you hear him on the radio, in the clubs or on your favourite playlist, there is no mistaking a Guilty beat.

Born Ronald Banful in Palermo, Italy and raised in Ghana, GuiltyBeatz’s interest in music began as a child when he received his first piano at age one, and taught himself how to play. He has not looked back since. Since breaking into the music business in 2010, he has produced hits for Ghana’s biggest acts including King Promise, Sarkodie, R2Bees and Stonebwoy, as well as international acts Mr Eazi (“Keys to the City”), Kida Kudz (“Bounce” featuring Wiley), Wizkid and Jesse Jagz (“Bad Girl”) and Ms Banks (“Snack.”)

As a solo artist, Guilty has received global acclaim with his infectious anthem “AKWAABA,” which has racked over 25 million views in YouTube and gained the seal of approval of Janet Jackson and “Pilolo” (featuring Mr Eazi and Kwesi Arthur), which was recognized by OkayAfrica as one of “The Best Ghanaian Songs of 2019.”

Now based between London and Accra, GuiltyBeatz is breaking borders and taking his sound worldwide, adding a Grammy nomination to his accolades with three production credits on Beyoncé’s landmark The Lion King: The Gift. At the same time his career as a producer is developing, so is his reputation as a DJ. In 2019, GuiltyBeatz made his Boiler Room debut in London, toured across North America and Europe with Mr Eazi, appearing live on the mainstage at Coachella.

He released his debut EP Different in April 2020 featuring superstar artists like Joeboy, Nonso Amadi, J.Derobie, Cina Soul, Poizon Ivy, Moonchild Sanelly and Mr Eazi.
