Dr. Paa Bobo (01-11-1951 - 28-12-2013)
Real name, Kwaku Agyapong Danemah was born 11th September, 1951 Akyem Maase in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He started his music career in 1968 when he played with Ghana's ace guitarist, Smart Nkansah. He used the opportunity to learn how to play the guitar which later became his identity in the later years of his career. After years of stewardship under Smart Nkansa, he formed his own band in Nigeria.

The multi award winning superstar and African legend has worked with great names like Okukuseku International Band, All Brothers Band, the Kusum Agoromma (Drama studio now known as National Theatre), Smart Nkansah, and has toured and musically explored countries like Nigeria, Ivory Coast, United Kingdom, Italy and Holland.

Dr. Paa Bobo has 40 albums to his credit and will be most remembered for the popular Osobro Kyee song.
