A Ghanaian-born Experiential Gospel Artiste, Awusi grew up loving her private worship moments with God and singing in the Sunday School and School Choirs. She started writing her own songs at an early age which she sung during her private worship moments and once in a while to family and friends. Her mother, Victoria Adede Deku of blessed memory was her first audience and motivator. She took her God given talent to the next level and released her first Single, “High and Lifted” in 2019. This eventually set the tone for the recording of four additional songs, which together with her first single make up her maiden EP- Strength from Above. Strength from Above has five tracks which are all based on her experiences walking with the Lord and scripture.
Awusi was born on February 26, 1978. She had her Primary and Junior Secondary education at Burma Camp. She attended Accra Girls’ Secondary School and had her tertiary education at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Her purpose in life is “exemplifying the mercies and the goodness of the Lord through giving, encouraging, intercession, writing and sharing gifts of songs of hope, healing and deliverance in an atmosphere of worship”.
